The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver CPR/AED Online Part 1 Course, Web-based and accessible 24 hours a day, provides a flexible alternative to classroom training. Through case-based scenarios, interactive activities and videos, this course teaches the concepts of both single-rescuer and team basic life support.
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
1. Key changes reflecting the new science from the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.
2. Adult CPR and AED use.
3. Optional modules in child CPR and AED use and infant CPR, including child and infant choking.
Part 1 must be paired with a hands-on skills practice and testing session (Parts 2 and 3) with an AHA Instructor. Students who successfully complete Part 1 receive a certificate that allows them entrance into a skills practice and testing session. An AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED course completion card will be issued upon successful completion of all three parts.

1. Have successfuly complited Online part#1 and bring a copy of complition form.
2. Be present for the entire course.
3. Successfully complete all required skills.
1. Dress comfortably; CPR skills are practiced on the floor in a kneeling position.
2. It's the students responaibility to know which course they need to take. GSPGuard might recomend a class but always recheck with Employer or DOH.
3. Please note that CPR requires the use of a CPR-mask you could bring your own mask or you have the option to purchase one from us at an additional cost of $15.00
